The present example considers a rectangular waveguide filter with dielectric resonator.

The waveguide's height is 10 mm and its total length is 60 mm. The width and length of the following sections are as follows: 20 mm and 20 mm, 20 mm and 12 mm, and 20 mm and 20 mm. The cylindrical resonator made of a medium of permittivity 5 is placed in a section of the guide of smaller width and its diameter is 8 mm.

For the purpose of calculating reflection and transmission characteristics of the structure, the S-Parameters postprocessing is activated. The S-Parameters postprocessing is set from 9 GHz to 15 GHz with a frequency step of 0.02 GHz.
