Following the trends in hardware development, QWED introduces 64-bit versions of QW-3D and QW-V2D packages. For those users who already have computers with Windows 64-bit operating system, the 64-bit version of QuickWave will remove all software imposed limits on the size of the accessible memory. It will also increase the computing speed by 25% on average. There is one more good news for QWED customers. The 64-bit version will be distributed at no extra charge to all licensees having a valid support and upgrade QW licence on January 1, 2007. The formal release of the 64-bit version is planned for that date. However, the users interested in receiving a pre-release version earlier are kindly requested to contact QWED support.
