The 6th International Conference on Microwave Materials and their Applications (MMA-2010) was held in Warsaw, Poland. The Conference was co-organised by QWED and the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, Warsaw University of Technology.

The 18th International Conference on Microwaves, Radar and Wireless Communications "MIKON 2010" was held in Vilnius, Lithuania. The Conference programme included over 10 papers describing applications of QuickWave software, of which 5 were authored by QWED staff. QWED also took part in the related exhibition. We are especially proud to announce that two young members of QWED team were distinguished at MIKON: Ms. Marzena Olszewska in the competition organised by the IEEE AP / AES / MTT Joint Chapter Poland for the best M.Sc. thesis in the area of microwaves, antennas, and radiolocation and Dr. Bartlomiej Salski in the competition for the for the best Conference paper presented by young scientists.
