The IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium was held in Baltimore, MD. QWED President, Prof. Wojciech Gwarek, was presented with the prestigious Microwave Pioneer Award from the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society at the IMS Awards Banquet. Technical IMS sessions featured two presentations by QWED staff. New software products by QWED were introduced at the Microwave Application and Product Seminar: the in-house GPU version of QW-Simulator and the add-on for direct launching of QW-3D from Autodesk® Inventor® Software. QWED products were presented in our booth # 438 at the related exhibition.
April 11-14, 2011
The 8th International Conference on Computation in Electromagnetics was held in Wroclaw, Poland. Technical sessions featured five presentations by QWED staff. QWED software products as well as resonators for microwave material measurements were demonstrated at the related exhibition.
March 7-8, 2011
A seminar on "Advances in Determining Material Parameters" was held at EMPA, Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology, Thun, Switzerland. QWED gave an overview of its cutting edge technologies for electromagnetic measurements of materials at microwave frequencies. New applications of QuickWave software relevant to the above emerging technologies were also presented.
