6       Dispersive Curves Fitting

Dispersive Curves Fitting uses QW-OptimiserPlus for finding dispersive model parameters (Debye, Drude, Lorentz, or combination of those), used in QuickWave simulation, to best fit the user-defined media parameters (ε’ and ε”) dispersive curves.

During dispersive curves fitting process, the basic information about its progress is displayed in the Optimiser Info tab of the Simulator Log window.

The cache accumulates the results of optimisation for consecutive values of the considered  dispersive model parameters.

The  command from Optimiser menu of QW-Simulator main menu and the  button in Optimiser tab of QW-Simulator Ribbon invoke Dispersive Model Fitting Configuration dialogue for introducing and managing dispersive curves for which the dispersive model fitting will be performed.
