4.2.7 Parametric Geometry

The new shape which was created after geometrical operation, i.e. after Cut consists of the base shapes which were used for the geometrical operation. The new shape created after Cut operation consists of Box and Sphere shapes which are hidden automatically (that is why they are greyed).

All geometrical shapes in QW-Modeller are parameterised and if one of the base shapes will change, the resulting shape will change automatically.

We use an example from Cut of Two Shapes chapter. In the Tree View, select Sphere object and in Data group in the Property Editor change the Radius of the sphere to 10mm.

The resulting Cut shape will update automatically.
