4.6.2 Revolve
This tool revolves the selected object around a given axis.
After clicking
under
button placed in the
QW-Modeller Ribbon's Geometry tab, an additional dialogue will appear in the
Task Panel. This dialogue allows choosing shapes and modifying various revolve parameters.
The following shape types are allowed, and lead to the listed output shapes:
- revolving a vertex will produce an edge
- revolving an edge will produce a face
- revolving a wire will produce a shell
- revolving a face will produce a solid
- revolving a shell will produce a compound solid
