3.1     3D Window Toolbars

Toolbars provide access to commands in a form of buttons. 3D Window contains several toolbars with commands needed for 3D visualisation of the project.

 

 

The toolbar’s icons size can be changed in the Preferences dialogue.

Each toolbar can be shown or hidden from the context menu by clicking right mouse button on an empty space near the menu.

 

Displacement toolbar contains the following commands:

 - enables free display rotation

 - enables display rotation around X axis

 - enables display rotation around Y axis

 - enables display rotation around Z axis

 - enables display translation

 - zoom to the selected content

 - zoom with the left mouse button and up and down mouse move

 

Plane toolbar contains the following commands:

 - resets display to the default view

 - changes display to view from –X direction

 - changes display to view from +X direction

 - changes display to view from –Y direction

 - changes display to view from +Y direction

 - changes display to view from –Z direction

 - changes display to view from +Z direction

 

View toolbar contains the following commands:

 - opens Background Colour dialogue for setting the background solid colour or background gradient colours of the display

 - switches between wire and solid displays

 - enables light illumination of the display

 - opens Blend dialogue for translucency effects for solid display

 - undo the last displacement operation

 - shows/hides all non-geometrical entities of the project (I/O Ports, Contours, Fields Monitors, NTF, ABC, Plane Wave, etc.)

 - opens View Elements dialogue for showing or hiding individual elements

 - opens V2D View Options dialogue with display settings dedicated for QW-V2D projects
