16 Modified flat-subreflector antenna
This example is available in .../QW-V2D/Standard/Antennas/Reflant/flat_subref_param.QWPro in the QW-Modeller examples directory and can be loaded using File®Open Examples... command from main menu.
General Description
This example is derived from the following publication: M. Olszewska and W. Gwarek, ”A dual reflector antenna for point-to-point system applications”, 18-th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MICROWAVES, RADAR AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS, Vilnius, Lithuania, 2010, pp. 1-4.
Geometry
This example considers hat – fed reflector antenna, having subreflector suspended on a dielectric tube. The flat subreflector, along with its dimensions, has been thoroughly described in Macro-based objects/Modified flat hat reflector chapter. Its design was optimized for high directivity and low sidelobes.
Postprocessing
