General Description
The present example considers an axisymmetrical two-reflector Gregorian antenna.
Geometry
This example presents a so-called Gregorian antenna wherein two reflectors are applied. In contrast to the Cassegrain antenna, the Gregorian antenna features a secondary reflector that is elliptical in shape, with its focal point located in front of the reflecting surface. This secondary reflector directs the wave towards the primary parabolic reflector, which also has its focal point positioned ahead of the reflecting surface. The design of the Gregorian antenna is also fully parameterized, allowing for precise control over its geometry and performance characteristics.
